MI GRADUACIÓN como 9ºDAN de TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN - MY GRADUATION as 9TH DAN of TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN

Hace ya 50 años y medio empecé a practicar TANG SOO DO... y nunca más me detuve. Estuve en TANG SOO DO MOO DUK KWAN (luego SOO BAHK DO MU DUK KWAN) por más de 26 años (llegando a ser 5º Dan), y luego en TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN, desde Octubre de 2004.

En Enero de 2006 fui graduado como 6º Dan de TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN, en Enero de 2012 fui graduado como 7º Dan, en Enero de 2018 fui graduado como 8º Dan, y hace 2 días fui graduado como 9º Dan de TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN, siempre por KJN Charles Ferraro, en West Haven, Connecticut, USA.

Quiero ahora reconocer a todos los Maestros que me guiaron en este camino: a mi primer Maestro, el "Tata" Arce, quien confió en mí cuando ni yo mismo creía en mí... y me hizo amar TANG SOO DO; a SBN Hugo Nami, SBN Gustavo Poletti, SBN Francisco B. Blotta, Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee, Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, Kwan Jang Nim Charles Ferraro y Kwan Jang Nim Andy Ah Po.
Y también a esos compañeros de práctica que me hicieron más fácil el camino, en especial a dos amigos que ya no están: SBN Alberto Uran y SBN Ernesto Mendez.

A mi esposa Norma Molina, que hace ya 46 años que me apoya y sostiene en este viaje.

¿Y ahora?... ahora sólo queda seguir practicando y aprendiendo TANG SOO DO...
¿o acaso alguien pensaba que esto acaba algún día?😁

Fifty and a half years ago, I began to practice Tang Soo Do... and I never stopped. I was in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan (later Soo Bahk Do Mu Duk Kwan) for over 26 years (reaching the 5th Dan), and then in Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan, from October 2004.

In January 2006 I was graduated as 6th Dan of TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN, in January 2012 I was graduated as 7th Dan, in January 2018 I was graduated as 8th Dan, and 2 days ago I was graduated as 9th Dan of TANG SOO DO MI GUK KWAN, always by KJN Charles Ferraro, in West Haven, Connecticut, USA.

I want to now acknowledge all the Masters who guided me on this path: my first Master, "Tata" Arce, who believed in me when I didn't even believe in myself... and made me love Tang Soo Do; to SBN Hugo Nami, SBN Gustavo Poletti, SBN Francisco B. Blotta, Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee, KWAN Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, Kwan Jang Nim Charles Ferraro, and Kwan Jang Nim Andy Ah Po.

And also to those practice partners who made the path easier for me, especially two friends who are no longer with us: SBN Alberto Uran and SBN Ernesto Mendez.

To my wife, Norma Molina, who has supported and sustained me on this journey for 46 years.

And now?... now all that remains is to continue practicing and learning Tang Soo Do...
